Sliplining

is a trenchless sewer rehabilitation technology for man entry profiles, which reconstructs the static load of the pipeline. The life cycle of the reconstructed pipeline is as long as a new built pipeline.

Sliplining. the procedure

Preliminary works
Before rehabilitation, the existing pipeline is carefully executed. Profile and wall thickness are measured by means of trial boreholes. Sewers are cleaned closely (high pressure cleaning) and blocked. To identify narrowing cross-sections, the sewer is calibrated with a molding tool equal to the nominal diameter.

Installation
Pipes (length of 1-2 meters) are inserted at installation pit with a portal crane. With the aid of an installation trolley or winch, pipes are brought into the required location, thereof fixed with hardwood wedges using gaskets to connect one with each other. Body connections and inlets are re-opened and bound thight.

Grouting of annular gap
To create partitions for grouting, the annular gap is closed between the existing and new pipe. Mortar is pumped using hose lines and brought into the gap via filling holes at the soffit.
